APAC:

Kheong Sen Lim has been appointed as the new business development manager for d&b Asia Pacific. Based at d&b’s Singapore office, he joins the German manufacturer having spent the last 30 years working in various capacities in the audio and performing arts industries. His new role will see him travelling across APAC and focusing on enhancing reach and awareness of d&b’s latest developments, including the SL-Series and the Soundscape system.

‘I am very happy to be part of an energetic and vibrant APAC team for one of the most progressive loudspeaker manufacturers in the world,’ commented Kheong. ‘I am excited to catch up with old friends while making new connections with like-minded people in all the countries. In addition, I am very keen to share the d&b sound system solutions and the possibilities it provides for elevating performer and audience engagement that results in amazing experiences.’

Most recently, Kheong was a senior consultant for Melbourne’s Marshall Day Entertech, providing theatre and sound system design advice to clients in Australia, New Zealand and globally. He has a degree in recording arts, with diplomas in technical production and project management, as well as experience as a sound operator and sound system designer.

‘This new position has been created to support and grow the installation business relationships d&b has with consultants, system integrators and architects in the region,’ stated d&b audiotechnik Asia Pacific territory manager, Michael Case. ‘We are delighted that he brings his energy and expertise as an audio professional and networker to the d&b family.’
