China:

Synonymous with premier karaoke lounges, clubs and concert productions in China, Martin Audio has gone back to school to better penetrate the growing education sector. Founded by famous Qing era industrialist and educator Zhang Jian over a century ago, Nantong Middle School in Jiangsu Province has seen many politicians, artists, award-winning scientists and Olympic gold medallists pass through its classes.

Specified for its consistent audio field coverage and high resolution, the newly constructed auditorium within the Chongya Building of the main campus is furnished with a Martin Audio MLA Mini loudspeaker system. Another important consideration in this choice was the level of control that has been provided by the Display optimisation software.

Comprising of two sets of MLA Mini together with two CDD Live15s, two CSX218 subwoofers and three CDD5s, the package also required pairs of installed XD12s and portable Blackline F12+ as fills. The system is driven by a combination of MA5.2K, dual MA2.8Q and dual MA3.0 amplifiers, while loudspeaker management is provided by DX0.5 dedicated processors.

The Martin Audio components were supplied by Beijing Pacific Budee. ‘We are very proud to have provided this unique Martin Audio sound system that both students and teachers at this school can enjoy for many years,’ commented Beijing Pacific Budee sales manager, JT Liu.

Over 5,000 leaders, successful alumni, retired teachers and other dignitaries were able to appreciate the clarity and power during the speeches and ceremonial music that were delivered during the school’s anniversary celebration and theatre opening.
