Prolight + Sound Guangzhou expands for 2020

China:

As part of its 2020 exhibition, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) will be creating a new hall arrangement and adding an extension to its exhibition hall. This year’s edition will take place in 15 halls and will gather over 1,500 exhibitors, with 96% of them returning from last year. Judy Cheung, deputy general manager of Messe Frankfurt commented, ‘We aim to provide visitors with a diversified and above all qualitative range of products and services in 15 themed exhibition halls, while allowing them to organise their time at the fair in an efficient and productive way.’

The exhibition will be in two main areas; Area A will be showcasing pro audio products, technologies and solutions while pro lighting, stage technologies and equipment will be in Area B. In addition to this, several companies will be expanding their halls as part of the 2020 edition. ‘The Audio Brand Name Hall, the KTV Hall and the Lighting Hall will showcase more top-notch products, but also strengthen the integration within the industry,’ commented Julie Zhu, the vice president of the China region. ‘PLSG is one of the most important platforms for us to better understand Chinese market trends in order for us to adjust our strategies. We are happy to meet with lots of existing and new clients and maintain a good relationship with them.’

2020’s exhibition will also include a more detailed seminar programme called PLSG’s Annual Training Course. This course will cover two subjects from previous years – Overview of AoIP Networking and Media System and Maintaining and Modernising Performance Venues – while introducing new subjects, including professional training and new information on the technical industry.
