Riedel expands APAC team

Riedel has made two new appointments to its Asia Pacific team, to continue strengthening its presence in the region. Julian Hewitt has been named regional training manager, while Deidre Joubert has joined as regional marketing manager.

As regional training manager, Hewitt will develop and deploy training materials, conduct workshops and lead educational programmes across the region. He has 10 years of experience with Riedel solutions, both as an end user and a consultant.

‘Having excellent equipment is only half the story,’ Hewitt commented. ‘Having amazing operators and engineers using the equipment completes the picture. With comprehensive training materials and educational programmes tailored to the specific needs of the region, our APAC customers will get even more out of their Riedel gear.’

Joubert, meanwhile, will work to strengthen the manufacturer’s pan-regional communications and brand awareness. ‘Our marketing strategy needs to reflect both the differences and similarities in customer motivations and requirements across this economically and culturally diverse region, while providing a conduit to the full range of Riedel’s knowledge and global experience,’ she explained. ‘To be effective in our communications and have a genuine impact, we have to be able to talk to our customers where they are, in a language they understand. By developing local support structures, we increase our ability to influence decisions and deliver positive outcomes for Riedel.’
