Prolyte Group has opened a new office in Guangzhou as a result of sustained success in Asia. The company plans to increase the presence of its ProLyft brand of hoist systems and controllers in China. The Guangzhou operation will formally be known as Prolyte China.

‘After the success of our new office and warehouse opening in the USA in 2018, I am pleased to announce the continued growth of Prolyte with the opening of our Chinese office and production facility in Guangzhou,’ said Prolyte CEO, Lambert Bouwmeester. ‘These local offices will serve customers better in the region, speed up delivery times and provide the inventory and presence needed for Prolyte’s continuing worldwide growth.’

The new facility includes the capacity for manufacturing and warehousing. It will provide sales and customer service functions for China, along with the group’s existing office in Malaysia – Prolyte Asia Pacific.

‘Our new offices and production facility in Guangzhou have been strategically located to satisfy the demand for ProLyft products in China and allow for quicker delivery times through Asia,’ explained Ralph Stockley, chief business development officer at Prolyte. ‘Factors, such as tax benefits, the strength of the Chinese economy and the proximity to the port of Guangzhou helped finalise our decision.’

In addition, Eagle Group has been named as the new distributor for ProLyft. Eagle Group will work alongside existing Prolyte partner, Trinity Technology.
