Vue chosen for Hengqin Music Festival & EDC

The 2019 Hengqin Music Festival & Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is set to take place from 23–24 November at the Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Zhuhai. During a recent press conference ahead of the EDM festival, Vue Audiotechnik was announced as the official audio partner for the event.

‘We have different music playing on each stage on different days, so we have to cater for that and that’s really the difficult part,’ revealed Tony Sawyer, Vue’s APAC technical support specialist. ‘Electronic music requires a lot more base cabinets. Most of the sound system will be designed based on our large touring systems, the al series.’

It is expected that more than 400 Vue loudspeakers will be deployed across all six stages, including al-12 dual 12-inch large line arrays, al-8 dual 8-inch compact line arrays and HS-221 dual 21-inch subwoofers.
