Qvest Media and Strive collaborate for global partnership

Qvest Media has teamed up with Strive for a new global integration partnership. Strive’s technology can be integrated onto online platforms and native applications including web, iOS and Android apps as well as set-top boxes or smart TVs. This software creates a WebRTC-based network between the app subscribers, which provides the video content. With this partnership, Qvest Media will perform the implementation of the technology in distribution infrastructures as well as taking care of global operational support.

‘Strive’s technology is a real game-changer for streaming platforms,’ said Thomas Müller, CTO at Qvest Media. ‘OTT providers and broadcasters have to deal with delivering a steadily rising mass of online video content through various distribution channels. Strive’s solutions improve both data quality and data availability while cutting operational costs at the same time. We are happy about the opportunity to roll out Strive’s innovative technology globally in our joint projects in the future.’

Strive’s unlimited scalable software solutions run independently of the internal IT infrastructure which can be installed onto the cloud and on-premise data centres, meaning that Strive meets all the requirements for the integration to Qvest Media’s multicloud management platform, Qvest.Cloud. This simplifies the shift to the integrated multicloud by replacing on-premise production capabilities with multicloud or hybrid architectures. The platform allows users to centralise control throughout the media management services as well as providing seamless integration on both private and public cloud environments and is the centre of a growing ecosystem of third-party cloud applications and solutions.

‘With Qvest Media, we found the ideal partner for the integration and marketing of our products,’ added Alexander Schäfer, CEO at Strive. ‘We are convinced that our expertise in streaming technology teamed with Qvest Media’s longstanding market experience makes a very compelling combination for OTT providers, broadcaster and media companies.’
