Jim Mobley promoted to his fourth role at Renkus-Heinz

Renkus-Heinz has promoted Jim Mobley to the position of vice president in operations. He joined Renkus-Heinz in 1999 as its first application engineer and since then he has held the positions of senior application engineer and technical sales manager, a role in which he led Renkus-Heinz’s pre- and post-sales technical and design support, taught EASE, EASERA and SysTune classes, as well as creating the Iconyx Dealer Certification programme.

‘Jim has been a pillar of stability and has provided good guidance and support internally and externally in his 20 years at Renkus-Heinz,’ said Matt Czyzewski, president of Renkus-Heinz. ‘In his new position, he will be responsible for manufacturing, purchasing, and quality. Jim will work closely with the rest of the management team to strategise and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity, growth, and success. I am very happy that Jim is taking on this new role and look forward to working with him in his new position.’

Mobley started his career in 1983 when he worked as an installer for Matty Sound Systems in California, which led to him becoming a lead installer and designer. In 1996, he founded his own consulting and design firm before joining Renkus-Heinz three years later.

Mobley commented: ‘I look forward to working with Matt Czyzewski and the rest of the executive team as we continue the traditions of innovation and excellence that Renkus-Heinz is known for in the pro audio industry. Among other things, I will focus on further developing our communications and processes to enable us to build on our legacy and accomplishments and continue to grow.’
