IMS brings HH Electronics to Malaysia

British amplifier manufacturer HH Electronics, part of the Headstock Group, has named Mahajak Trio Electronics’ sister company IMS Malaysia as its distribution partner in the country.

‘The IMS team are excited to bring the HH Electronics brand to Malaysia,’ said Henry Yap, IMS head of sales and operations. ‘The HH team has been working closely with us to bring to market high-quality products which meet the market’s purchasing power. The experience behind this legacy brand has allowed them to translate our specification requirements to reality. We were blown away by the sound of the speakers during a product introduction at [the PL&S show in] Shanghai and we cannot wait for our customers to have a listen themselves.’

Headstock’s director of global sales, Ian Wright, commented on how the deal with IMS came about: ‘Henry and the IMS team are very professional and came highly recommended by someone I trust within the industry. I am extremely excited to be working alongside IMS as we develop our relationship and HH business together in Malaysia and having a company such as IMS representing HH will certainly help boost our presence and brand reputation within the wider Asian market.’

James Laney, Headstock’s CEO, is delighted by the appointment of IMS. ‘Their expertise and enthusiasm is exactly what we need to continue building the HH network,’ he enthused.
