Australia:

The Melbourne Cup is an Australian horse racing event that takes place each year in October and November at Flemington Racecourse. This is part of the annual Spring Racing Carnival, which is broadcast throughout Australia and across the globe. In order to provide agile broadcast mic splits for the broadcast box, racecourse owner, Victoria Racing Club, contacted audio contractor Intavent to supply it with two ARX MSX 32 mic/line splitters, which were delivered by ARX’s Australian distributor, The Resource Corp.

The ARX MSX 32s were chosen to provide the primary feeds which allows Flemington’s race caller, Matt Hill, to be heard around the racetrack. Gary Ashmore, owner of Intavent, commented: ‘The ARX MSX 32s performed flawlessly, and we look forward to many more Melbourne Cup race calls using ARX technology.’
