Fuzhou Radio and Television in China’s Fujian Province has upgraded its radio channels to AES67-compliant Ravenna AoIP with the installation of mixing and I/O equipment from brands such as Audinate, Electro-Voice, Eventide, Genelec, Lawo and Shure.

Two new on-air studios were created, each equipped with a Lawo Ruby mixing console and a Power Core mixing engine. The studios were also set up with Electro-Voice RE27N/D and Shure MX418 microphones, Genelec 8030C monitor speakers, Eventide BD600+ broadcast delay systems and Audinate Infomedia AOIPBox terminals.

‘Fuzhou Television has worked with Lawo before and has experienced the power of our mixing consoles firsthand, with an mc²56 at the centre of their HD OB van,’ said Jochen Richter, Lawo’s head of sales. ‘When they decided to renew their radio studios and adopt AoIP, they found our Ruby Mixing Console perfectly suited to their needs.’
