Audionamix and Stemit create partnership and licensing deal

Stemit has formed a long-term partnership with Audionamix and given licensed exclusive rights to Audionamix’s most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) music stemming algorithms for record labels, publishers and music distributors.

Audionamix’s AI separation technology can reportedly split songs into stems while Stemit’s SaaS platform, Maverick, can deliver stem management, distribution and monetisation to allow content owners to create new revenue opportunities. With this partnership, content owners will be able to create stems directly from two-track stereo masters without sourcing the digital multi-tracks. This also enables rights owners to participate in revenue generated from existing and new use cases, and drives new ways for consumers to experience content while increasing exposure for artists and rights holders.
