CMG expands Meyer Sound inventory
The Corporate Media Group (CMG), a supplier of audiovisual products in Australia, has added the Meyer Sound LEO linear line array system to its portfolio. CMG has invested in Meyer Sound in the past including in its Leopard, 900-LFC, Lyon and 110-LFC loudspeakers. With this purchase, CMG now has a total of 326 Meyer Sound loudspeakers in its inventory.
CMG originally wanted to order the LEO loudspeakers for Metallica’s stadium shows in Australia; however, the concerts were postponed due to tragic circumstances. Despite this, CMG felt that it was the right time to bring these speakers to the Australian touring market. They have already been used at the Harvest Rain’s Wizard of Oz Arena Spectacular at the Qudos Bank Arena.
‘We are very excited by the opportunity to provide this top-tier system for both local and international touring productions,’ said Tobi Pinazza, general manager of CMG. ‘The arrival of LEO in Australia completes the offering of the entire product family in the region and we look forward to the next phase of our development as an Australian-owned business. We are privileged to receive such amazing support from the Meyer Sound team locally and across the world and particularly want to acknowledge the hard work of Chris D’Bais [sales manager of Oceania and Southeast Asia at Meyer Sound Laboratories].’
CMG has also created a new division called CMG Touring, which will supply audiovisual products for live and corporate events across Australia.
