For Vishal-Shekhar’s live show at the Imperial Blue Superhit Night in Kolkata, director of Universal Sound and Light, Amitava Biswas, and his team installed RCF TTL 55-A line-arrays, TTS 56-A subwoofers and DiGiCo SD10 mixing consoles. These were distributed by Hi-Tech Audio Systems, which also provided technical support for the show.

Biswas chose the TTL-55 due to his relationship with RCF and Hi-Tech Audio Systems. ‘Throughout the year, we provided audio support to several events and the RCF TTL 55-A is the premium upgrade for our inventory,’ he commented. ‘With the TTL 55-A, we have escalated our audio support and services. We started to think hard about our own rental infrastructure and knew that the TTL 55-A would open up a new revenue stream by enabling us to present the market with a premium system that complements large shows and events.’

For the show, Hi-Tech Audio installed 10 TTL 55-A line arrays on each side of the stage alongside a total of 10 TTS 56-A subwoofers. The loudspeakers were controlled by the RCF RDNet 3.1 and were used with two SD10 mixers. ‘The RCF TTL 55 speakers delivered a powerful, clean sound and did justice with my mix,’ said Tosief Shaikh, FOH engineer at Vishal-Shekhar. ‘A powerful system is something we always look for when it comes to the dynamic duo of Vishal-Shekhar’s live shows. Hi-Tech Audio Systems, which is always providing us endless support and solutions regarding DiGiCo and RCF, did an excellent job post and during the show. You can always count on them for show support.’
