Ben Phelps returns to Absen

Absen has re-hired Ben Phelps as its retail industry director. While his primary focus will be on developing retail opportunities in Europe, Phelps will also support Absen sales teams and systems integrators around the world.

Phelps previously worked for Absen in 2016 for a period of nine months before returning to his former employer, the Spanish systems integration firm Trison. He had built a relationship with the LED display manufacturer during his initial stint with Trison, where he ran the LED department.

More recently, he has taken a six-month sabbatical, after which Absen approached Phelps once again for his expertise.

‘It’s an honour for me to be able to return to a company that I respect so much, and a company that has been at the forefront of the LED industry for many years,’ Phelps commented. ‘I have full confidence in the products that we are offering and I’m sure Absen has a very bright future. I will do my very best to make sure that the retail industry forms part of the success of the company.’
