Obsidian creates weekly training classes

In order to support the entertainment industry during the Covid-19 outbreak, Obsidian Control Systems is offering weekly training sessions that cover its Onyx control platform and Netron data distribution range. The classes will begin on 24 March and can be accessed online by anyone anywhere in the world.

The full list of classes are as follows:

Tuesdays from 24 March: Introduction to Netron – Participants can learn about the product options in the Netron data distribution range, including training on its display navigation and all features available on the remote web interface.

Wednesdays from 25 March: Onyx 101 – Individuals can study the basics of the Onyx platform including patching, fixture control and writing basic cues and effects.

Thursdays from 26 March: Onyx Advanced – Different topics such as the DYLOS pixel engine, building of cue and playback structures and FX creation are discussed in an open forum to encourage user interaction and questions. The Onyx workspace environment will also be debated in depth alongside any topics users wish to discuss.
