Out Board goes one-on-one with online training

Out Board has created a series of One-on-One for One online training sessions with specialists from TiMax, which are open to any sound designers, engineers and production sound techs.

The sessions cover TiMax DSP functions of mixers, matrix, EQ, delay, source/zone groups and snapshots alongside advanced task-based spatial rendering and immersive show control programming tools in the TiMax PanSpace and cue-driven TimeLine workflows. These will also introduce the TiMax TrackerD4 precision stage tracking interface, which controls TiMax SoundHub via OSC. They will also cover how to programme a touchscreen, OSC control of levels, cue/snapshot recall and spatialisation processes on generic tablet apps such as TouchOSC and Lemur.

The sessions can be accessed by registering to download TiMax’s SoundHub software (Mac or Window) from Out Board’s website and entering ‘1on1’ into the about you section. The company will then respond with an invitation selecting a time and date for a one-hour one-on-one training session via Skype with either Dave Haydon, Robin Whittaker or Duncan Crundwell.
