Australia’s iMAGsystems has appointed Singapore-based Generation AV to manage its sales and technical support in the Asia Pacific Region. Led by Gerry Raffaut, iMAGsystems was initially created from the management and engineering teams responsible for introducing video-over-IP to the Australian market via a previous partnership with SVSi (now AMX). Dedicated AV-over-IP products of the SDVoE Alliance member include the Lightning (10G) and Thunder (1G) series within the corporate, hospitality and education sectors.
Generation AV will now handle territorial sales for iMAGsystems and provide project design support, pre-sales and post-sales support to distributors, consultants and system integrators across the region. Headquartered in Singapore, the Generation AV Application Team are located in India and the Phillippines to ensure wide coverage of support across the region.
‘Our focus on providing great technical and customer support to our customers across the region has really benefitted the brands we represent,’ said David McKinney, founder and managing director of Generation AV. ‘We are in a good position to introduce iMAGsystems to our customers in the Asia Pacific region as their award-winning products complement other brands that we represent and will be a high-quality addition to installation projects around the region. Generation AV is proud and privileged to be working with Gerry Raffaut and the iMAGsystems team. The brand is seen as a true leader and innovator in the field. The AV-over-IP market in Asia Pacific is starting to gain momentum. It is perfect timing to be forming our new partnership with iMAGsystems and we believe we can create great opportunities for systems integrators and customers across the region.’
Gerry Raffaut, CEO of iMAGsystems, added: ‘We are super excited to be working with David McKinney and his team to implement our APAC strategy, anticipating that our software-defined, AV-over-IP experience will benefit the many integrators as well as end users in the region. Our interests are aligned in educating the local market to the benefits of AV-over-IP beyond just matrix switching, making integrators aware of the value that features such as analytics and notifications can bring in improving installation outcomes.’
