The SC-SEMICOLON 4 has been designed for broadcast and theatre applications

The latest cable from Sommer is an AES/EBU patch and microphone cable with ARAMID fibres worked into the outer jacket for reinforcement named SC-SEMICOLON 4. This extra strength is said to greatly increase the number of bending cycles the cable is capable of withstanding, making it a “reliable workhorse” for professionals. The design is popular in broadcast and theatre applications, in connection with belt pull cable drums in OB vans or on theatre stages. It’s also suitable for connecting effects devices and control units where a return signal is required.
