Barco appoints Vega Global as first tier-one Pan-Asian Gold reseller

Barco has announced the appointment of digital workplace solutions specialist Vega Global as its first tier-one Pan-Asian Gold reseller. The partnership is designed to provide Asian organisations with the technology, tools and expertise to implement hybrid workplace solutions enabling employees to connect using preferred devices and applications.

“As hybrid meetings become the norm, we are seeing an increasing demand for deploying solutions that enable seamless collaboration between employees in the office and those working remotely,” explained Olivier Croly, vice president, Barco APAC. “This (expanding) partnership with Vega Global strengthens our value proposition in delivering hybrid working and hybrid learning solutions to both private and public sector customers.”

Vega Global will get access to the complete portfolio of Barco solutions to serve corporate and education customers with digital workplace and learning technologies across Asia Pacific.

“Companies are rapidly discovering the need to shift to a more balanced approach where employees’ time is split between the office and working remotely from home,” said Matthew Deayton, deputy chief executive officer, Vega Global. “Getting the technology right will be crucial for companies looking to navigate the hybrid workplace landscape, balancing a mix of physical and virtual interaction.”

To commemorate the new partnership, a signing ceremony was held on 14 of October at Barco's Singapore Experience Centre, in line with Singapore's social distancing measures. Showcasing the hybrid meeting and learning in action, executives from Barco's Singapore office and Vega Global's Hong Kong office connected over Barco’s WeConnect virtual platform to commemorate the partnership.
