Dante appeal extended with SDK
Dante appeal extended with SDK
Dante AV networking technology developer, Audinate, has made a software development kit (SDK) available for manufacturers of Arm-based audio products. Designed to reduce costs in addition to conserving space, the SDK allows manufacturers to deploy Dante audio networking as on-chip software in their products. The Dante Embedded Platform SDK provides the required tools to develop Dante-enabled products built upon 32- and 64-bit Arm Cortex-A processors using a Linux operating system, and supports online licence activation for OEMs. Ensuring reliability, the SDK allows manufacturers to validate their own designs for performance and capability. In addition to support for Arm Cortex-A processors, a Dante Embedded Platform SDK for x86-based audio products is currently in development.
