Based in Singapore, Garry Tjhin has been appointed as the new distribution sales manager for GRAS Sound and Vibration and Audio Precision in Asia and ANZ. Having gained over 10 years pro audio experience, Tjhin spent the last six years at Sennheiser, including roles as regional sales manager and professional systems product specialist. As product manager – pro audio solutions, Tjhin oversaw the transition of Sennheiser’s evolution wireless platform from G3 to G4 technology. Having graduated in 2014 with a B.A. (First Class Hons) in Audio Production, the English and Mandarin speaking self-confessed audiophile has accrued experience and skills in product management, strategic planning, technical, sales and marketing responsibilities.

Over the coming weeks and months, Tjhin will be meeting with partners in his region. “I am excited to continue my journey with decibels in the field of testing and measurement,” comments Tjhin. “It is my greatest honour to join brand leaders in this field and I look forward to adding value and serving our customers in the Asia Pacific region.”

Together with the newly acquired IMC, both Audio Precision and GRAS form part of the Axiometrix Solutions group. “We are really happy to welcome Garry as an integral member of the GRAS Global Distribution Team to support our Asian customers solve problems in the electroacoustic industry,” commented global distribution director for GRAS and Audio Precision, Nigel Bentley. “Garry brings a unique mix of business and technical experience coupled with customer empathy to support our rapid growth in Asia.”
