India:

Ektaworld jam studio in Mumbai has been installed with a main L-R system of Adamson P12 supplemented by a Point 115 Sub installed beneath for low-end extension, powered by a Lab.gruppen D40:4L amplifier. Completing the studio install is a Mackie DL16S digital mixing console and a JTS UF-20R wireless microphone system. All equipment for the installation, handled by acoustic consultant Milind Raorane, was supplied by local distributor, Sonotone.

“The management of Ektaworld was looking for a versatile and visually discreet system for their jam studio and the Adamson Point Series was chosen due to its effectiveness and fantastic audio quality,” said Raorane. “The Point Series’ compact installation line employs the same large diaphragm compression drivers found throughout Adamson's touring product range. The Point 12 is available with 40˚x20˚ and 60˚x40˚rotatable waveguides which offer maximum flexibility allowing it to adjust to the needs of the performances. Combined with the Point 115 subwoofer, it adds a warmth to the atmosphere.

“The Mackie DL16S delivers proven mixing power with Onyx+ mic preamps in a new design and allows for quick mixing with built-in WiFi and the Master Fader app. The JTS UF-20R wireless microphone system ensures that every word is heard clearly, with such ease that it can be set up in minutes. The studio is extremely impressed with the sound and clarity of the entire setup and is happy that no details were left unaddressed. The new audio package fits the requirements of the studio perfectly.”
