Lightware opens APAC HQ near Sydney Harbour
Lightware Visual Engineering, a signal management and AV technologies manufacturer, has announced the opening of its new offices in central Sydney, Australia. The new headquarters demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.
Situated in the Newington Technology Park in Newington, and surrounded by the Sydney Olympic Park as well as the iconic harbour, the APAC HQ features a training centre, a showroom, a tech lab, a warehouse and office and meeting spaces.
The opening of the Australian office is said to be Lightware’s next strategic step in expanding the company’s global footprint, fostering growth in APAC, and will be a central hub for customers and partners across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Its team will provide sales support, after-sale technical support and on the ground customer support, as well as demonstrations. Newington Technology Park is already a hub for major technology brands in the region, including Viewsonic, Bose, Sony, Ainsworth, Pelican, CAE and Barco.
“We are excited to relocate to the new state-of-the-art offices that will contribute to accelerate the growth of Lightware Visual Engineering in the region and will have a positive impact on our enterprise, live events and esports customers, and members of our staff in Australia,” said Jason Lewis, general manager in Australia, Lightware Visual Engineering.
All Sydney-based Lightware staff will be working from these new headquarters, including Technical Support, Training and System Sales & Design.
