ANZ:

New South Wales-based Sightline Productions has upgraded its Astera inventory with the purchase of 16 AX3 LightDrops. Founded by Joe Murray and Adriano Candeloro, the AV and rental company delivers solutions for a range of corporate and B2B clients across Australia and New Zealand, as well as for a variety of international projects.

Sightline Productions’ Astera inventory totals over 200 battery-powered LED products, including 50 AX1 PixelTubes, AX2 LED battens, AX5 TriplePARs, AX9 PowerPARs, 2m Hyperion Tubes and the 0.5m Helios Tubes. Adding to its existing AX3 LightDrops stock, the acquisition of two cases of the luminaires joins 80 domes for the AX5s which can be used as set enhancements.

The company recently utilised the AX3 fixtures for a corporate event, fitted to the top of a set piece. They have also been incorporated for stage applications due to their compact size which allows them to be easily concealed. “Being able to use this many battery-powered fixtures on a show, event or stage set is amazing and so practical. It allows for quick and cable-free looks,” explained Murray.

Candeloro remarked on the Astera luminaires: “The batteries will last all day, so combined with the very organic look that blends in so well, the accessibility and incredible versatility of the luminaires – they are good for anywhere and everywhere.”
