Singapore’s International French School turns to Electronics & Engineering

Singapore:

The International French School (IFS) in Singapore recently enhanced its audio capabilities with the installation of JBL speakers provided by Electronics & Engineering (E&E). Established 50 years ago, IFS is a private international school certified by the French Ministry of Education that delivers bilingual French-English education for students aged 2–18.

The school wanted to upgrade its ageing audio system to ensure optimal audio quality for its range of daily events, including performances and assemblies. Furthermore, IFS emphasised the importance of clear sound on engagement for the students. “The E&E team understood these needs and communicated effectively throughout the process, ensuring that the installation met the school's expectations and supported their diverse audio needs,” said Gerald Chew, head of distribution sales, Electronics & Engineering.

The solution comprises JBL’s SRX906 and SRX918S speakers, which IFS reported have improved the quality of performances and enhanced the overall experience for both the students and the audience. “This upgrade has not only met but exceeded the school’s needs, providing a robust audio solution that supports our diverse range of events,” confirmed Noh Abdul Rahim, stage manager, International French School.
